Abbeyleix Golf Club Game Rules

• The Lotto will be based on the correct selection of four drawn numbers from 1 to 32 inclusive. The cost of entry is €2 (i.e. one ticket, a selection of four numbers) or 3 tickets for €5 or €100 for an annual ticket.
• The Jackpot will commence at €2,000. In the event of there being no winner of the jackpot, a sum of €100 will be added each week up to a Jackpot maximum of €20,000. A lucky dip will take place in each weekly draw and 2 prizes of €25 each will be paid out to the 2 tickets drawn. Lucky dips will be drawn every week, including the week in which the Jackpot is won.
• The 4 numbers and the quick pick winners will be selected by random generator software and supervised by 2 club members.
• All prizes will be paid out within one week of the draw date. Winners, whether of the jackpot or the lucky dip, will be required to provide bank account details to allow the online transfer of prize money. Jackpot winners will permit the club to take photographs of them being presented with the jackpot for promotional purposes.
• If two or more correct entries are received the jackpot will be shared equally.
• The lotto draw will be held on Wednesday nights at 9.30pm. Draw date & time is subject to change at the discretion of the Management Committee. Tickets can be purchased online up until 9.30pm on the day of the draw. Any tickets purchased after close off at 9.30pm will be entered in the following weeks draw.
• Tickets may be bought in the club’s office or over the phone during office hours.
• Persons under 18 years of age are not eligible to participate. Where a person under 18 years of age may be the owner of a ticket, given to them by a person over 18 years, payment of all prizes can be made to the parent or legal guardian unless otherwise expressly authorised by the Management Committee.
• The Lotto will be run in accordance with the licence granted by Portlaoise District Court.
• The decision of the Management Committee shall be binding on all matters relating to the AGC Lotto and the Management Committee may add to or amend the rules from time to time as they deem necessary for the proper conduct of the draw.
